17 year old Candys first night out of the shelter, she finds herself safe, clean, well fed & ready to sleep deeply at headquarters. Candy is fairly weak, seemingly sad, and pretty skinny. She ate an entire can of wet food, has healthy poops, and is a quiet girl. She has a vet appointment at 10:00am tomorrow, but tonight we are going to treat the heartache with gentle Christmas lights, sweet kisses, and soft music and tell her that everything is going to be okay.
