17 year old gang-raped in a parked car in Safdarjung enclave, Delhi. When I read such news, the only reaction is >:( . I dont give a damn what the Delhi development model is or what any other states development model is. I dont give a damn if you give me a corruption free India or not. I want a safer society for my sisters. Promise me that, tell me the steps that you will take and then ask for my vote. If these incidents continue to happen at the same rate, I am sure there will be a day when innocent people will take the law to their hands and deliver vigilant justice. When that happens it will bring a lot of violence and damage. We certainly dont want to get there. EXEMPLARY sentences and nothing less. 7 years or jail is not a deterrent and a punishment too low for such inhuman acts.
