17 yrs ago today I had just gotten back to Memphis from Chicago on the Greyhound. Reginald Freeman scooped me from the bus station and we were on our way back to RUST. Vann Jones and I had a pretty in depth convo about the events that would or would not transpire as we anticipated what we believed to be the inevitable. The NUPES had already played an April Fools on us the day before saying wed go over yesterday. I went back to my dorm and Kenny Bee and the rest of the guys were kickin it pretty tough. Just as I was about to immerse myself in the festivities the phone rang. Kenny answered it and it was Kquan Lewis. He told me to grab a sheet and meet him downstairs. We ventured to Daren Johnsons spot en route to where it all would become OFFICIAL... Locking up with my Deuce and 4Klub that final time, I cant explain the energy of invincibility we ALL felt...
