Bids are easily submitted by internet, and if you havent already signed up, you have 24 hours to do so at goldbergcoins/content/ This is another recommended auction lot from the Top 100 recommended by our seven-member panel of senior members, based on: 1.) How under-priced the lot is based on its current bid. It should be more accurately about two to three times its current bid, closing in the next few days. 2.) How under-graded the coin is. 3.) How rare the lot is in this condition, with no more than 100 such lots probably in existence, some of which are permanently in American and European museums. Inside secret for those who may not yet know: Many auction houses deliberately published under-estimated prices and under-graded coins by as much as two or three grades to increase the frenzy of bidding and the number of bidders. However, many bidders are not aware of this, and thus, they will only bid based on the way-too-low estimates and the way-too-low grades and stop bidding, only for a more experience bidder to win the coin about half of what its worth. This is one way in which hundreds of eBay dealers double and triple their money when they bump up the grade and prices to what they should be. While the Beverly Hills Coin Club has not endorsed auctions since 1987, many members convinced us to make an exception for these Top 100 recommendations at the Pre-Long Beach Auction this January 25-27. goldbergcoins/view-auctions/catalog/id/40/lot/88992/from/bidding/
