18 + 3 years of memories are blessings. God has been faithful to me! I can say Hes never left me alone & He was with me when you left and Hes not surprised today. I KNOW He has us in His hand... allowing us to breathe, be still, and remember. It still stings, burns, and hurts, but... Pain is only a reminder. It doesnt just remind me of that day anymore. It reminds me of all things good, how healthy days were, and love-what true love is. Im honest when I say a true love story is forever. Ive learned to realize that life is too short to not eat the dessert - ya gotta race the kids to the door sometimes no matter where you are or whos watching, & do something that makes people stop and stare so your kids will roll their eyes in embarrassment, and most of all say the hard things, be true, be real, work hard, and mean something. Life is too short. Im so thankful that I have friends that are family and that there isnt a day that goes by that one them doesnt stop and ask how I am. I always say Im ok, and most of the time they let that suffice. I also know that they never fail to pray for me & the kids. We know we are loved. Until I see you again, thanks for the memories!
