18 March 2014, Results : Match 3/3 Team Spiders vs Team Turbochargers RESULT : Spiders defeated Turbochargers by 6 wickets. Was perfectly a one-sided match, and the shortest run chase, the MCL has ever seen, thanks to Varun Bajpayee. Team Turbochargers, winning the toss this afternoon and choosing to bat first, were dealt a blow off the very first delivery of the match when Arun Vashishtha claimed the wicket of the opener Abhishek Badial. The team kept on losing wickets thereafter and a disciplined bowling by the opposition ensured that the team didnt go too far and could manage a meager total of 16 runs. The batsmen again disappointed the team, with Saarthak Gupta (6 runs )returning as the leading scorer. Ramesh Raturi was the pick of the bowling side clinching 2 crucial wickets of Saarthak and Prashant. Prashant Gupta was out to a superb catch taken by Yatendra Singh at Extra Cover. Now, what can we say about the chase!!! which lasted only 4 legitimate deliveries. Spiders chasing an easy target of 17 runs, finished the match with 5.2 overs to spare.
