18 families from Emthonjeni informal settlement next to the Saint Marys church in Orlando East are being relocated to Lehae today. The process is being facilitated by the City of Johannesburg housing unit headed by MMC Dan Bovu. The area’s councillor Bongani Dlamini says this forms part of government’s efforts to eradicate informal settlements in the country. Dlamini has appealed to those who are still waiting for houses to be patient_#JoziFmNews
