18, thats eighteen (a 1 and an 8) which is about 3 times as much as normal things about myself, so I will make them truthful. By the way, I know I did this already, but was reminded that the rules say that you cant make up your own number, lol. 1. I am brutally honest when someone asks a question, as I have learned that the truth (no matter how painful) is still whats best 2. I went to at least 11 or more schools in my life (yea, that was fun. Not! Lol) 3. If you assign a number value to the letters of my name, add them up, you will come up with a number that means absolutely nothing, lol 4. Gotta be truthful, and I am still fascinated with WWII and other wars since. A relic used in WWII would be more valuable to me than gold. 5. My actual best friends are Daryl, Pam, Little Daryl and Mindy (RIP). Our families have taken so many vacations, Disney, Knotts, Universal, Marine World, camping; and several times each place... 6. Was encouraged to join the police academy in 1986 by the then current captain of The Oroville Police Dept. Carl Spinalli 7. After completing the academy in 1988, I began my career with Butte County Sheriffs Dept. 1989- present 8. I like science fiction movies over other types. But if the movie is based on history, different rule. 9. I met my current wife Cindy by walking her down the isle in a friends wedding. 10. Absolutely loved working on cars until my body couldnt handle it. 11. Was addicted to tennis in my earlier years and played it sometimes everyday straight for a month or so. 12. Never missed the honor roll in high school 13. With my wife being the exception, my three children are all equally the best gifts God has given me: Ashley Hamilton 26, Steffi Davis 22, Devan Davis 20. 14. I was our churchs drumset player for about 10 years 15. I was also one of our youth leaders, and held an Exhorter Minister Credential for about two years. 16. It took me and Cindy nearly 10 years to read the Bible cover to cover, because we read slow enough to discuss and learn from it. 17. In 1995, I was an extra in a TV movie starring Randy Quaid, Kirsten Dunst, and Laura Dern filmed in Butte County. I played (get this, lol) just one of about a hundred cops. I alone messed up an entire scene when my hat blew off as a helicopter took off, lol. 18. My favorite saying is if you always do what youve always done, youll always get what youve always gotten. God bless you my friends and family.... :)
