18 years ago my family changed forever! What started as a last night of Lamaze class and tour of the maternity ward with my BFF Carrie. Quickly changed as soon as the elevator doors open and my eyes connected with my momma. I knew the look wasnt good. The only words she could say was come we got talk. She took me into private waiting room. As tears formed in her eyes, she said daddys here in hospital. I ask why and the words no child wants to hear they think you daddy has cancer!! She started to try to explain it, but for me it was a blurr!! We spent the next 6 months thinking all was good after his surgery ! Then to hear its back and pretty much everywhere. We had 6 short weeks to try fulfill all his wishes and that wasnt many! #1 he said all I want is to see ALL my brothers and sisters all together with mom and dad in a peaceful time! I said its done, give me a couple weeks! #2 I want to take momma to Silver Dollar City, thats the one thing we enjoyed together. I said done. It will be done tonight so, the day for you and momma to go! I went bought the tickets that night. Started making calls to make his 1st wish come true. Week 1 he broke his arm. Week 2 we knew it wasnt going to be long. Week 3 each and every brother and sister with grandpa and grandma some close friends gathered all in peace and harmony for a day! Wish #1 granted!! 3 weeks later he joined his Heavenly Father!! So, Wish #2 wasnt granted to him for lack health. But before he joined the angels he told me by his bed side. Sissy when every thing has calm down take momma to Silver Dollar City for the day. I told him I would. So that October for her birthday I took her to fill his final wish! I know he was there with us. The whole day was just the temperature he liked with a gentle breeze blowing! I miss you daddy and I love you!!
