18 years ago today we lost a great man and musician. RORY GALLAGHER was completely dedicated to his profession and his fans. 200 shows a year worldwide for 25 years. Died way too young of a transplant infection at the age of 47. Rory was born with a genetic liver disorder, hemachromatosis. He was anti-drug and did not drink himself to death. I had the true honor of spending some time with him in London in 1990, will never forget this beautiful man, "The Father of Irish Rock Music".
