18ish yr old CurlyxMorgan. 14.2 h. Small enough to get a pony card but build heavy and can take a bigger rider. Rides primarily English, willing jumper. Good W/T, seems green at the canter. Very smart horse, for intermediate to advanced rider ONLY. She was marketed to my daughter as beginner safe, but they have spent more time discovering and working on bad habits than actually riding. Behavioral problems they have worked through/fixed : Pawing, cribbing, herd bound, hard to bridle. Behavioral problems still in progress: she can be barn sour, ring sour, and is all around very mare-ish. The person I got her from would not take her back despite their obvious dishonesty and here I am, a year later with a horse my kid really shouldnt ride. My kid needs to focus on riding, not training a horse, and I dont have the money to support the latter. I have been encouraged by many people who know horses (unlike myself) that with consistent work from an intermediate to advanced rider, Sassy Suzie could be turned around. I say she would make a great companion or backyard pasture pet, as she is a super easy keeper, sound as they come, and barefoot. Dont let the age turn you off, she is like a spring chicken and as healthy as can be. Price negotiable to good home. Please private message me as I have not been getting notifications for groups.
