18th January, 9.03 pm My hands are still shaking but Im going to do my best to describe what i just saw and experienced. I live in a Hamlet in North Yorkshire, UK. Having just spent my evening watching various ufo documentaries and reading various articles (this is what makes this experience all the more terrifying and unbelievable for me) I rolled a cigarette and began to smoke it on the roof outside my window. I know the flight paths of planes well, as I watch the skies at night and day a lot, so I take a few puffs and spot the usual flashing lights of a plane, on the usual flight path, only it was going a little faster than it should have been. In my mind as i smoked i joked with myself that wouldnt it be funny/great if it was a ufo, moments later having progressively sped up, the light suddenly changed course and flew directly upwards, then changing direction once more proceeded to fly in my direction and flew maybe 200 feet above me and I lost view as it passed the roof. All of this happened (from when it began to fly upwards) in the space of about 5 seconds. The distance it travelled was incredibly far and the changes in direction were impossible. As i mentioned before my hands were shaking and they still are now. I was able to get an terrifyingly clear view of this craft as it flew over above me and have done a quick illustration on paint to post here. One of the most terrifyingly coincidental experiences of my life. The diagram shows a triangular craft with flashing lights on each corner, the light at the back seemed to be some sort of trail rather than something that was part of the craft itself.
