18z outlook: An active pattern remains over the region this forecast period. Our next chance for precip begins late overnight Friday into early Saturday morning around sunrise. As the an upper level disturbance moves into the region, a cold front will sweep through the area bring much colder temps. In the meantime, as moisture begins to return in advance of the front, light rain and some snow will be possible for parts of central OK and westward. Very little accumulation expected. Highs this Sunday and Monday will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s ahead of the next front which will significantly impact high temps for a while. Highs Tuesday through next Thursday will likely struggle to get out of the lower 30s till possible that following Friday. Our next chance for precip during the latter part of the outlook will be next Wednesday through Thursday where it appears during the current time that wintry precip looks possible for parts of the state more details will follow in later outlooks. Next outlook will be the 00z outlook later tonight.
