19/12/2014 We received a call at 20h30 from a member of the public to report an accident that occurred on the corner of Monte Vista boulevard and Diaz street. Response Officer Jones was dispatched, upon his arrival he noticed that a military paramedic was already at the scene helping the drivers, he was just across the street when the accident happened. The vehicle was coming from Dias street when he hit the motorbike. Response Officers Koorts and Smith also stood down shortly after to assist Officer Jones. The ambulance arrived at 20h42 and the SAPS at 20h50. The driver of the motor bike had dislocated his shoulder, he was taken to hospital by the ambulance for further treatment.
