#19 on my countdown isnt one song, its an entire album. In 1963 superproducer/megalomaniac Phil Spector got several acts that he worked with together to record a Christmas album. It was released the Friday before Thanksgiving-November 22. For obvious reasons it bombed. However sales and airplay picked up steam in future years and it is now a bonafide classic.
