1940. Stanley H. Wallace and William E. Honey are partners at Wallace & Honey, a funeral home and ambulance service at 1142 E. Genesee. After the war, Frank Chilson Jr. will replace Honey as a partner in the company, and by the time Frank Chilson Sr. dies in 1951, Wallace is out and the funeral home under the partnership of Chilson & Crandell. By the mid-50s Frank Chilson Jr. is running the funeral home as a sole proprietor.
