1940s/1950s Baby Pink Satin Cropped Bolero Jacket. Bodice front - TopicsExpress

1940s/1950s Baby Pink Satin Cropped Bolero Jacket. Bodice front and 3/4 length sleeves are lavishly embellished with swirling gunmetal colored barrel beads, white sequins and petal shaped pearl beads forming a slightly abstract floral design. Fabric covered buttons are all intact and in great shape. Jacket is in overall GUC with a few issues shown in pics. On the front of bodice to the right of buttons near the waist there is a darker pink stain about the size of a dime and just above it a water stain. I assume they are related. One of the pearl petal beads has crack a little and needs to be reattached. On the back at the waist there are a couple of tiny pinholes and a few tiny, faint stains smaller than a pencil eraser in size. There is a small water spot on right arm. There is a very faint fading/discoloration over each hip to shoulder and because the jacket was stored in a trunk under many garments there is a slight indentation in the outline of the beading on the left arm. I believe most of these issues other than the fading and pinholes will be rectified with a good dry cleaning and press. None make the jacket unwearable by any means. It is still a stunning garment with a lot of life left in it! Measurements taken flat: 17 Bust, 13: waist and 17 from nape to hem. $45 Shipping: US $6 Everywhere else please ask for a quote. :)
