1956 Mercury Woody Wagon On November 1, 1956 Mr. Jewett L. Brown bought this Mercury Montclair wagon new from Texas Motors, Inc., the authorized Lincoln Mercury dealer in Dallas, Texas. The purchase price was $2,891.82 and I have the actual invoice documenting that transaction. I also have the original title from 1956 and subsequent license receipts. At that time Mr. Brown was driving a 1941 Ford station wagon which was parked in his garage and the Mercury was used until 1972 when a new Ford Country Squire was bought to replace the Mercury
