1965 Week! The Yardbirds are quietly one of the most influential bands of the... well... ever. Eric Clapton was a founding member, but left after this track for the John Mayall Bluesbreakers (which at times would also feature Mick Taylor, Mick Fleetwood and Peter Green). Jeff Beck stepped in and was there for 3 years before a successful solo career/other projects, the tail end of which also featured pre-Led Zeppelin Jimmy Page (more on them in a few weeks).
