1972 Renault A110 Alpine 1300S Coupe (RHD) Originally a 1300S model dating from 1972, this fabulous little Alpine was one of a pair rescued from New Caledonia in 1991 . The car was discovered to have a works-specification lightweight shell Rebuilt with brand new shell mounted to the original freshly restored lightweight tarmac chassis. The 1296cc engine bored and stroked out to 1550cc, fitted with a special head, bigger valves, rally camshaft along with twin 45DCOE Webers, giving 155 bhp at 7000 rpm. Gearbox is a close-ratio Type 353 five-speed unit, with Hewland locking diff. The car is RHD with rare Gotti rims car set-up is setup for competition work, with a half-cage, 80-litre tank, aluminium catch tank, Magnaflow muffler. Monte Carlo brakes, Perspex windows, harnesss, leather steering wheel and period Halda Twinmaster completing the period feel.
