1978-79 For the first time I taught English throughout the day. No more drama classes. I’m still in room 141 next to the Superintendent’s office on the first floor. Class sizes were still large, but it’s all we knew. We dealt with it and taught accordingly. After seven years of teaching and with my wife back to work at the hospital we were finally able to buy a house., moving from our trailer to 4125 9th St. next to what was then the new Jack’s IGA store. Our oldest daughter Heather started kindergarten, and a few of my students became our babysitter when we wanted to go out.
