1999 The 1st Living Legends Celebrity Roast and the introduction of the National Sport Karate Museum Mr. Allen Steen witness my Sons Black Belt test and approved and asked Mr. Tim Kirby and myself up to his room at the Hilton . He gave me priceless photographs from his personal collection and asked me to be his door greeter at his 60th birthday party , all that is cool ,however to me personally what was the Hoot!! He and I were the last one in the Ballroom and everybody who was part of the Golden Age of the 60s were there , come and gone . He pulled up a chair and sat me down and he said Gary .education is the most important thing in the martial arts ,being a educator and passing on the knowledge, the Museum idea is that process and I will support , after that night ,you could not stop me with ten bulldozers for the passion to build this Museum for all of us,Osu Later that night Master James B. Toney gave me the Allen Steen Family Black Belt Tree I saw my name and my sons name Grand Master Steen , you are my hero and my sons hero!
