The above subject matter refers. In the spirit of party building, respect and love for the party and its leadership H.E. Dr Mrs Joyce Banda; upon giving it much thought, having consulted family members, relatives, political mentors and close freinds, I hereby withdraw the dispute and concerns raised over Rumphi East Constituency primary elections. I disputed the manner Rumphi East primary election was conducted based on facts and evidence on the ground. The concerns I raised were for the partys benefit and not for personal political gains. Had the party taken heed of the concerns I raised on 23rd December, 2013 while Rumphi East primary elections were in progress, most of the challenges the party faced during the just ended primary elections could have been addressed and avoided. Hon Acting Secretary General, with due respect, kindly be reminded that I joined Peoples Party during very difficult period. It was for the love of the Party President H.E. Dr Mrs Joyce Banda then Vice State President; upon being convinced with her democratic leadership style, the partys policies, ideologies and values. I have been a very dedicated and committed member of the party since then. My royalty to the President and the party remains steadfast; it is unconditional, unshakerble, unmoverble and unquestionable. My prayer and desire is to see to it that H.E. Dr Mrs Joyce Banda and Peoples Party win the forth coming 20th May 2014 tripartite elections. I would like to congratulate Hon Kamlepo Kalua and wish him Gods guidance and best of luck. I will render my support to him should my services be required. I urge those who supported me during tne primary elections campaign to work with Hon Kamlepo Kalua so that come May 20 2014, Peoples Party carries the day in Rumphi East Constituency. In view of the above, I have folded my thoughts and file regarding the manner and conduct Rumphi East Constituency primary elections were conducted.
