Congress will be reduced to double digits in the LS polls : Pinarayi Vijayan The Congress party is staring at a huge defeat in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections and will be reduced to double digits after the elections, said Com Pinarayi Vijayan at the function to commemorate the 16th death anniversary of Com: EMS EMS Namboodiripad. “People are waiting to give a resounding defeat to the Congress and the wish of BJP to come to power in place of the Congress will not materialize. BJP should realize that it is not a major force in big states. It will not be able to win enough MPs to form a government. Post elections, a government, that is non BJP and non Congress will emerge in the country. Left secular forces will be forming this alternate government,” said Com Vijayan. In Kerala also, Congress is awaiting a major defeat. All sections of the people in Kerala are against the Congress. In the current situation, the Congress may not win even a single seat in Kerala, he said. “In the coming days, the people of Kerala should be more vigilant as the Congress would try use money power to woo voters,” he pointed out.
