19th September 2013 All CSO Partners, INVITATION TO THE ZONAL PUBLIC HEARING ON THE REVIEW OF THE REVENUE ALLOCATION FORMULA OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA The Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) in continuation of its advocacy and mass mobilization campaign on the review of the Revenue Allocation Formula is organizing zonal public hearing in all the six geo-political zones to give Nigerians the opportunity to express their views and submit memoranda on the exercise so as to enrich its content. CISLAC on behalf of the Commission is hereby inviting Civil Society organizations and all Interested Parties in the North-West who may be interested to participate or submit memoranda towards the preparation of the new revenue allocation formulae. This is an opportunity to make relevant and meaningful submissions as the issue of revenue allocation is fundamental to true federalism and development. The programme is scheduled to take place as follows: Venue: Arewa House, Conference Hall, Kaduna Date: 23rd & 24th September, 2013 Time: 9am Daily Please note all who wish to be part of this hearing will have to sponsor themselves as CISLAC will not be responsible for any logistics. this means that participating organisations will be responsible for transporting and hotel accommodation for their representatives at the meeting.
