1Corinthians 11:26 KJV For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lords death till he come. The word shew used in this context means to proclaim publicly. We go for communions at least every month at church. But the question is are we doing what we are supposed to do with it? Do you speak to people about our Lord Jesus Christ? Our Lord calls us to dine with Him not because we are righteous, its because of His grace! We therefore need to proclaim this great love and grace to people. For just as he calls us in our sin, He is also calling everybody no matter how far you think you have gone in your sin. Our God broke bread with Judas even though He knew Judas had already sold Him out. That is the message of the communion Christ wants us to proclaim. Revelation 3:20 says Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. This verse says if ANY man....i.e. no matter how u are, our Lord is ready to dine with you. All you have to do is invite Him in and let Him be the Lord of your life!
