1st Down, Bolivia Bound is just a week away! Who is ready to play some FANTASY FOOTBALL and help our Bolivia team make disciples here, there and everywhere? Details are below: New Life Fantasy Football League 2013 Donations for league fee will aid those traveling from NLCC to Bolivia this October as part of a Church Planting Expedition. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each league at the end of the season. We will have 10 to 12 teams per league and all teams will play only those in their league. If you want to be in the same league as someone else in your family or friends, please let us know and we will try to make sure your draft is with those persons. All results from the online draft or live draft will be managed on the yahoo fantasy football site. Who can participate in the leagues? Everyone! We would like all to be part of this whether they are members of our New Life team or someone outside who has not yet experienced our church. Teams are encouraged just like one person teams whether it be Husband/Wife, Father/Son, Mother/Daughter Boyfriend/Girlfriend, Mother /Father and so on. There will be two drafts: A. Live Draft will be at the New Life facility on Wednesday, August 28 starting at 6:00PM. The donation to play and do the live draft will be $30.00 per team (if you have ever done a live draft you know how exciting this is). Everyone will need to have a yahoo email address. Let us know your email so we can send you an invite. B. Online Draft will take place on Tuesday, September 3 starting at 7:00PM and the donations will $25.00 per team. All you need to do for this draft is to have a Yahoo account, or set up a new one, and once you have done this give us your email address and you will be sent a link to go in to register and make up your name of the team (really easy to do). You should be signed into the league 5 minutes before the draft starts. For those of you who cannot make this time or are not familiar with drafting a team, Yahoo will select your team for you and then all you have to do is manage it the rest of the season. (Sometimes they select a better team than we would draft and it is done fair ☺.) The player rankings for every position are posted and are easy to do on the draft site. For those of you interested in the live draft, we will supply the draft boards and stickers on draft day. All you need to do is bring yourself and any cheat sheets you would like to print off or fantasy draft books (which can be picked up anywhere magazines are sold). We will have some draft cheat sheets available for you to use the day of the draft with player rankings. All scoring and rules will be posted on the Yahoo site for those to review. For those who are part of the live draft, we will have copies at the time of the draft. Hope to see everyone be part of this as we have some great fun with football in 2013, as well as support our team heading to Bolivia.
