1st Period Report: Hawks - 0 & Wild - 2 A complete and utter disappointment. About the only thing that was actually good about this period, was the nice job the Hawks did killing a 2-minute penalty where they were playing 3-on-5. During those 2 minutes, they did their team proud. But the other 18 minutes ranged between lethargic to sub-par to just plain embarrassing. I dont know what is wrong with the Hawks tonight, maybe its the lack of sleep or the lack of practice or tiredness due to playing back-to-back or perhaps the stars in the sky are not allied right. But whatever it is, a complete 180 has to be completed in Period 2, otherwise this game, which has been completely dominated by the Wild will be out of the Hawks control. In Coach Q We Trust. GO HAWKS!!!
