1st Timothy 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. The unsaved person will typically hear the message of the Cross and will think that we are judging them. They will fail to recognize that all we are doing is telling them what God has to say. Like a messenger sent from the King with a message. If what the message says offends you, you wouldnt get mad at the messenger. HE DIDNT WRITE IT and has no authority over you. He is simply bringing you the message. Your issue is with the King. The other thing that they will do is think that you are saying youre better than them. As if reading the message somehow implies that you arent as guilty as they are. BUT THEY ARE FAILING TO HEAR THE WHOLE MESSAGE! We, who have been saved, are no better than the lost. We are guilty of those same sins. The difference is, we have been forgiven! We LISTENED to the whole message, ACCEPTED it as the authoritative Word of the King, and BEGGED for mercy! AND WE RECEIVED IT! When I post messages on here, I am not saying I am better than you. Some of you have first hand knowledge of how evil and wicked I once was. BUT, I have heard the Message and found forgiveness.
