1st World Taijiquan Championships –Information Update E-mail Print 2014-8-14 (524 times) 1st World Taijiquan Championships –Information Update Dear IWUF members: The 1st World Taijiquan Championships will be held from November 1 to 4 in Chengdu Dujiangyan, China. The event is sponsored by the IWUF and Chinese Wushu Association. In order to allow the participants to better prepare for the event, the updated information is provided as follows: 1. Entries Preliminary entries are to be completed and submitted to the IWUF ([email protected]) by email no later than August 20th 2014. The preliminary entry form can be found at: iwuf.org/editor/UploadFile/2014127155711799.doc Final entries must be done through the IWUF online registration system (justtool/iwuf), no other means of final entry will be accepted. All IWUF members will be notified when the system has been opened, and the deadline for final entry submission is the 20th of September, 2014. Following the final entry deadline, the online system for registration of degree of difficulty techniques and for compulsory/optional techniques will be opened for all participants registered in those events to complete. Details of which will be circulated once the system has been opened. 2. Registration 2.1 The participating teams shall register at the Dujiangyan Guoyan Hotel, Chengdu on October 30, 2014 2.2 All participants travel details must be submitted through the online registration system with the final entry. These details must be submitted with the final entry in order for the local organizing committee to arrange transportation for participants. 3. Financial Conditions 3.1 The international airfare shall be borne by participants; 3.2 Preferential prices for accommodation: US$80.00 per person per day (double room) US$100.00 per person per day (single room) US$70.00 per person per day for accompanying persons (double room) 3.3 The participants should stay at designated hotel arranged by the Local Organizing Committee. All participating teams should lodge at the designated hotels arranged by the Organizing Committee. Those teams who do not stay at the designated hotels will have to pay a participation fee of US$200 per athlete and US$180 per team manager, coach and doctor. 4. Other Matters 4.1 Each competitor should bring along with a Health Certificate and a Life Accidental Injury Insurance Certificate. The competitor shall not be allowed to participate in the competition if the above-mentioned documents are not complete. 4.2 Each participant should bring personal identification document for accommodation purposes. 5.
