1st generation Pentecostals did not have nice buildings and they - TopicsExpress

1st generation Pentecostals did not have nice buildings and they often did not even own property so they would meet outdoors in what was called a brush arbor.... Gradually they were able to move from these temporary facilities into either tent meetings or storefront churches.... It was a big thing when the Pentecostal Church in town finally purchased property and was able to put up a building... Today, some of our United Pentecostal churches are so large and elaborate that the secular world writes about our buildings.. traditional-building/Previous-Product-Reports/3-domes-December2006.html ------ My point for this post is .. I wonder what the younger generation is going to do with what the previous generations have left them? Our grandparents had nothing and they did so much.... For a new generation that starts out with so much - where will they take this???
