1st time @ Virginia International Raceway in 2009 inside an 84 s12 with an 8 min hot lap around the summer time, much difference indeed. Especially driving 4.5 hours to an event and back with a 25+ year old car, though the seat time was also highly abundant on the patriot course. Id just dump second gear to start drifting because i had a disk conversion without e brake cables hooked up yet lol. I didnt even drive my car to the event i rode in the passenger seat there because my license was revoked at the time. Trusty single cams though, eventually my steering wheel hub splines stripped out (thought it was understeer) and then whiplash guys helped me weld a wrench onto my column to get the car steerable and on its way home.
