1st truck of culls going tomorrow, 7 in total, including my oldest cow, # 92, Medusa, sadly have to send her on her way due to her being empty, she would have turned 17 next month. Also have to send another favourite, # 107, Tegan, she is one of the main reasons I wanted the original herd in the 1st place, mega friendly, but she has reached the end of her career, this season has seen a high scc, low production & her intimidation of other cows is driving me more than a little mental, & to boot she wont be calving til late September next season....really wish I was one of those people who didnt get attached to animals.....
