2-13 Friends and Family, TODAY is the LAST day that we lovingly refer to as Snapshot Sunday. As you know, during each Snapshot Sunday approximately 600 pictures will be posted on this page from all 6 companies (read the FSG for the specific dates). If you do not know what your Soldiers’ company is review the FSG. Please keep in mind that our goal is to give you a glimpse into a Soldiers’ life in BCT. It is not to provide each of you with a picture of your Soldier! We do not guarantee anyone will get a picture of your Soldier through our page unless you win a challenge question or your company wins the company challenge (Read the FSG for more info on this as well). As you look through the pictures today we encourage you to keep in mind that in the Army we are all FAMILY. So even though some of you may not see your Soldier you will see your Soldiers’ Battle Buddies. You may not know who they are yet, but they are very important to YOUR Soldier already and as a result will become very important to you too. So it should be as if you are looking at the faces of your extended family because you are! Be grateful that ANY pictures are provided at all. I assure you this was not the case when our Soldiers went through BCT! Please note that pictures are uploaded at a time that is convenient for the volunteer that took them! We encourage you to be respectful and keep your comments family friendly. We have a zero tolerance policy for inappropriate remarks so please don’t get yourself banned from the page. Some companies have 2 volunteers so part of the pictures may be uploaded early in the morning and part may be uploaded late that evening! Do not ask when pictures will be uploaded. Such comments/questions will be deleted. IF there is an issue with your companies pictures we will make a post as soon as it is determined. A good rule to remember is no news is good news. You will know they have all been uploaded when your company has around 100. With that said, we are excited about Snapshot Sunday so that we can give you a glimpse into your Soldier’s new world. At a time that is convenient for the volunteer that took them! If for some reason you won a challenge and do not see your Soldier’s picture by Monday morning let us know so we can make it right. It is our goal to make sure we get them all, but it is possible for us to make a mistake! There are a lot of moving pieces to get these pictures up, but we do enjoy taking them and are excited to show you the next batch!
