2 Chronicles 32:7-8 NIV “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him. With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people gained confidence from what Hezekiah the king of Judah said. The Old Testament is filled with stories that remind us of Gods supernatural protection over the people of Israel. Today we can call on the same God and He will come to our rescue in times of trouble. Through the blood of Jesus we have direct access to the throne of God. So whatever is troubling you today, remember that you are not alone. Your God is with you and He is the one that fights your battles. Nothing or no one can defeat you, the King of Kings is on your side.
