2 Chronicles 7:3 "When all the Israelites saw the fire coming down and the glory of the LORD above the temple, they knelt on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and gave thanks to the LORD, saying, "He is good; his love endures forever." Dear Reader, Can you imagine being part of the congregation of Israel as God entered the Temple? Years of preparation and hard labor and the presence of God had come to rest with His people. What a glorious time. Imagine the celebration at that moment as the people began reflecting on all God had done for them. They may have thought back to the calling of a man named Abram in the land of Ur. Possibly, they cheered as they remembered their forefathers being brought out of Egypt and crossing the Red Sea. And as they stood in awe at that beautiful temple, they may have cheered Solomon while remembering his father David. Truly, the people of Israel had much to celebrate but nothing was greater than the One who had brought them to this point. Psalm 107:1-2 "Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy,"
