2 Corinthians 3:5 Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. ....... Our lives are filled with struggles that reveal our human inadequacy. Sicknesses can leave us weak and unable to cope, relationship troubles bring confrontation and stress, continual battles with addictions and bad habits leave us feeling defeated, or financial pressures damage your self-worth. But God can turn the negatives into blessings if we acknowledge our helplessness, and rely on His strength, and step into our challenges with confidence in Him. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, believers have the ability to endure difficulty and accomplish whatever the Lord calls them to do. By claiming the power of Christ Jesus, we can face every circumstance with confidence not in ourselves but in God, who is capable. Our very competence comes only from the Lord. Is it time you claim today this? I wish everyone reading this today, would grab a pen and paper, and jot this saying down to memorize. It will keep your focus on what it is all about.........You are God, not me. Your will Lord, not mine! Thank you Lord for giving me competence in You, for this ole wretch and Meth-head would be nothing! Thank you for coming by today, and I pray your day will be aimed at your Savior, because not one of us are competent without Him~
