2 Corinthians 4:16-18(MSG) So were not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we cant see now will last forever. These scriptures touched my heart this morning so I wanted to share them with you. Oftentimes our natural man get tired and want to rest but we have to remember that we should be operating in the spiritual killing our flesh daily. When we fight these daily battles, it may appear that the world is winning because of the pain, but we have to remind ourselves that this too shall pass and that its only temporary. As we fight through this earthly hurt and pain to live a life thats pleasing to God, our faith is getting stronger and preparing us for a life of eternal peace with our Savior. See, if we allow the weight of this world to stop us and get us down and forget about the one that was sent to die for our sins before we knew we would sin; we will have an eternity of consuming fire and pain that will last throughout eternity. I dont know about you, but I would rather suffer a little here while on earth and triumph over these circumstances and know that I will rest in His bosom than go to an eternal hell! We have to remember to focus on the things that are unseen, walking by faith because these things will last forever but the things which we can see will not get us into Heaven for they are all temporary.
