2 Corinthians 4:5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus sake. Who are we preaching? What are we preaching? how are preaching? Where is the place at which we are preaching? These are the questions we as believers should always ask ourselves, many preachers have forgetting the reason of messaging to the world, they have forgetting the one that called them into ministry in which they are, and all they after is their personal popularity, fame, riches, and many perishable materials. You see some in their messages returning glory that belong to God to themselves. What am I talking about, am talking of our conduct as vehicle that carries the word of God, Beloved, we are not to share from glory and praises that belong to God. (Isaiah 42vs 8), we did nothing, our hands perform not a single miracle, we did nothing, our understanding do not get us a single mystery, we did nothing, our meditation and struggles get us not a single revelation, nothing we get by ourselves, but grace give it all to us freely, (John 1 vs 16) why should not we preach ourselves forgetting the real doer of all. Our lives is what God is looking at from time to time, to offer us our needs, our failure to acknowledge God in our previous messages is our reason for loneliness drives in our present messages. God said to Eli that HE honour those that honour HIM (1 Samuel 2 vs 30). Beloved, our message is shallow when we allow ourselves to used in the place of God. Therefore, let God take His place and ours shall be the blessing thereof. What we are Preaching is another thing. Is our message seasoned with salt (Colossian 4 vs 6)? Are we teaching people the mind of God? That is another problems Church of God is facing. But just that there is no preacher that will deliver beyond the level of his mindset, what is dwelling in your mind will be what you offer, if your mind is set on perishable things, your messages will offer out the same result because, it is what you have in your preparation that determines your output. When you go to Alter of grace, as a non sacrificed life, you will only come out with your hear filled with selfish desire, your will only hear from yourself instead of God, but when your heart is prepared and sacrificed, your short time at the Alter of grace will be embraced and engraced (Romans 12 vs 1 - 2). Therefore when you step out, it will be with fullness of grace, remember that out of His fulness we have all receive even grace to grace (John 1 vs 16). Live a sacrificed live to have an engraced messages. Finally, your lifestyle is the best preacher anyone can ever come across, theres no messages that proceed out of your mouth without you being a good ambassador of the message, that will yield you a good result. Let your life be a examples to the world around you. If not you wont disciple any till you will lay down your life. Live by Christ lifestyle, follow Christ steps in all things, if your want others to follow you to glorious strand (1 Corinthians 11 vs 1). That is all it take to get there. Christ never preach of HIMSELF but of FATHER, Peter never preach of himself but of God, Elijah never preach of himself but God, Apostle Paul the great never preach of himself but of Christ, who are preaching in acts and deed, openly and secretly?
