2 Corinthians 4:8-10 (We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.) Every day can seem like a battle sometimes but this passage of scripture speaks so much life into a believer. Even when the enemy is encamped around us, when the bill collector says final notice, when the doctor says cancer, when the job says layoffs, when the spouse says I want a divorce, when the kids wont mind and begin to rebel, Gods mercy steps in and says you are not crushed, you are not in despair, you are not forsaken, you are not destroyed! You are a child of the Most High God! You have royal blood coursing through your veins! You were created, and you are loved by the one true KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS, the One who created the universe! When you truly accept the reality that God, the great I AM is on your side, it will become very difficult for the devil to continue deceiving you into believing that you are defeated! _Chris_Church
