2 Corinthians 5:17-21 “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, ‘Come back to God!’” In these few powerful verses, we get baptized with the truth about our identity in Christ. When Christ comes into our hearts, we get a new identity. We get a new life. We get a new Master – for we belong to Christ. And along with that new identity, we get a new sense of purpose. Christ has brought us into his family and given us the task of representing him to the world. In fact, the Bible says, “We are Christ’s Ambassadors.”
