God said we are the apple of His eye. God said, I have loved you with an everlasting love. And if that wasnt enough, God said that you are so valuable to Him that He gave His only begotten Son... But sometimes we limit ourselves, and God…. By how we feel about ourselves.Sometimes the problem is that we compare ourselves with others and we allow unrealistic standards in the media to define us. It is not what we wear - What we drive – Who we associate with –Where we live. How successful our business is – Too often we allow others to define us by these things. We look at the airbrushed magazine covers at the glamorous girls, or the muscular men, and we then we decide that we are somehow defective or inferior by comparison.Culture and society make us feel like our worth and value are determined by material things--we must not forget that we are exactly who God says we are-- God said we are created in His image and in His likeness.You are who He says you are; you have what He says you have; and you can do what He says you can do. Remember, Our identity are In Christ and we are valuable to God because he is the source of who we are. Our identity in Christ leads to our destiny. I am God’s child (John 1:12) -I am a saint (Ephesians 1:18)-I am seated with Christ in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 2:6-I am God’s workmanship (Ephesians 2:10)-I am a member of God’s household (Ephesians 2:19)-I am part of God’s kingdom (Revelation 1:6)-I am blessed in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing (Ephesians 1:3)I am holy and blameless (Ephesians 1:4)-I am a citizen of heaven (Philippians 3:20)- This is who you are if you are a Christian. This is how you got your identity as a Christian. This is who you are today in Christ.
