2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us:... What is a ambassador? Accredited diplomat sent by a country as its official representative to a foreign country. Person who acts as a representative or promoter of a specified activity. They r more than just messengers. They r representatives of the soverign who sent them. As christians we r called by our King to serve as ambassadors in a world that is in rebellion against Him. The message is one of peace and reconciliation. We r to implore people to be reconciled to God and listen to the voice of their Creator. To note, a ambassador has to properly represent the nation it serves. Those who fail to r removed and replaced. When we fail to represent God and His kingdom and His message properly by compromising His word to sin, seek our own gain, become greedy, advocate false doctrines, and generally live in a way not fitting for a christian, God will demote us, muzzle us spiritually, make us unable to have great influence. Dont fail, be a great ambassador for God today.
