2 Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow works repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world works death. Repentance means to change our thinking. It sees the door of opportunity is wide open so undeserved yet freely given. Repentance looks at sin and says no more. It looks to Christ and says I will arise. Sin can only hold us if we remain where we are. Repentance is the blessing of God. It is the doorway to freedom; the path to new life; the bringing of a new day; it is a new beginning; a new start in Christ. New life in Jesus begins with repentance; without it we can never enter into the blessings that are ours through faith in Christ Jesus.
