2 Done!! Who Next?? Arsenal for the first time in many years have done important bit of transfers early. Alexis Sanchez and Mathieu Debuchy are very much needed for the current squad and will seamlessly go into the first team. With Sanchez being able to play anywhere in the front line we have with us a very versatile and hardworking player who has his best years yet to come. Debuchy on the other hand will be a direct replacement for Sagna who departed to Man Shitty. So now that the 2 of the 6 positions are filled, let’s see what is left GK RB CB (If TV5 leaves) DM LW ST To make a complete squad to fight in all four competitions we will need all of these signings to happen before the deadline day. Goalkeeper: This is a very important position at present. Though many people are hooked on to DM I believe we need to first sort out a proper GK backup. The current players we have are 1. Wojciech Szczesny 2. Damian Martinez Szczesny will undoubtedly be our first choice for years to come but we will require a back-up who if not better is at least at the same level as Szczesny. I suppose the best option here would be to buy an old but in-form keeper who is ready to fight it out with Szczesny for the number 1 spot. This will be a temporary option till Martinez or any other academy graduate is ready to fill the void. Possible options: Júlio César , Iker Casillas Rumoured buys David Ospina: 25 years old with a lot of experience. Can be got for cheap but am worried if he will play second fiddle to Szczesny. Defensive Middle: This is one of the hottest place with a lot of rumours. Arsenal doesn’t have an outright defensive player in their squad bar Mathieu Flamini. I don’t consider Arteta or Diaby for this role as they are not defensive naturally. The current players who will be fighting out for this spot will include Arteta, Diaby, Flamini, and Coquelin (if not sold). Our best option within the team will be our caption TV5. He has all the right attributes to fill this position. Though I feel this position will play the crucial role in Arsenal winning titles, I feel this place will not be filled soon. It will all depend on how Wenger feels about Diaby and the rest during preseason. Possible options: Sami Khedira, Lars Bender, Morgan Schneiderlin Rumoured Buys: Sami Khedira: He is again injury prone. But if bought will surely get the best out of Ozil. Personally I feel we need a player who is ready to sit back and does the dirty work would prefer Mascherano, Bender, Vidal or Martinez. Left Winger: A buy here will signal a lot of intent from Arsenal. This is more of a fantasy buy at present but if Wenger does get a player to fill this position, then it signals we are ready to fight with the shitties and cheskis. Personally feel we would need Reus or Griezmann to fill this position but as told earlier is a fantasy buy. Possible options: Sanchez, Cazorla Rumoured Buys: Griezmann: He is already a start, and did show it with his performance for the French in this World Cup. If not now I surely feel Arsenal will try to get him in the next Transfer Window. So who is it next that we see in an Arsenal Jersey?? #Whizzy
