2 Female Authors! I met the first one online after buying one of her books online (Amazon). We messaged back and forth a few times and I wound up sending her a Pendant from a movie that she liked and she also saw a photo of some silver rings I have and told me she really loved one of them that had a big stone in it so we came to an agreement and I sent it to her. I collect coins and she lives in South Africa so all I wanted was some coins from there. Needless to say I never got them and dont hear from her at all anymore! I stopped reading her book and wish I could return the other one I bought and the Anthology I bought that had one story of hers in it. I also wanted to help her edit the one I was reading so it would make sense to US readers. I think the US market would have substantially increased her sales if only it was US Friendly but now I could care less. Just another freeloader as far as I am concerned. I know that sounds harsh but she took items from me and agreed to an exchange with me, reneged and now ignores me so if that is not wrong, nothing else is! She reminds me of the girl I met on Facebook with the cute little baby that I sent toys and clothes to and stuff for her and her husband and of course she and her mom asked to Borrow money and of course they never paid it back or bothered to even send messages to me anymore! I know I sound like a fool but if you cant care for and help others what are you here for anyway? Now the second Author lives in the Good Old US of A and we made NO agreement for barter or trade! I just admired something she was doing for ALL of us in D.C. and sent her a token of appreciation! Well I was surprised to get a signed copy of her book in the mail today! God Bless you Amy Irene White! I put the book in a gallon storage bag and will put it with the 2 signed poetry books I already have. Now I have to find where I can buy another book so I can read it! I may be a fool for giving of myself and my stuff but sometimes, someone, makes it all worth while!
