2 July 2014 The Hon Congressman Jim Bridenstine 216 Cannon House Office Building Washington, DC 20515 Dear Congressman Bridenstine: Unless Congress appropriated money to house illegals at Ft Sill, then doing so is both illegal and unconstitutional as the executive branch may only spend money how, where and in the amount appropriated. Nixon tried spending differently than as appropriated and it became an impeachment article. As to DHS prohibiting Congressional oversight, that is an illegal order. An agent acting on an illegal order – as you know from your service and Lt Calley in My Lai - is illegal and no defense. Have a local federal Marshal arrest the DHS agent. Have him prosecuted for executing an illegal order. Then go down to the border and start arresting DHS agents executing illegal orders. Pretty soon it will be in SCOTUS, where ALL precedent is that executing illegal orders gets you prison time. Pretty soon all DHS agents will quit executing illegal orders and start doing their jobs. Pretty soon we will head back toward the Rule of Law and away from the Rule of Obama We have ways to fix the problems of an Imperial presidency. For unknown reasons the GOP refuses to use them.
