2 Kings 13:20-21. so Elisha died, and they buried him. Now bands of Moabites used to invade the land in the spring of the year. 21 and as a man was being buried, behold a marauding band was seen and the man was thrown into the grave of Elisha, and as soon as the man touched the bones of Elisha, he revived and stood on his feet. This story has always amazed and amused me! Shazam! He jumps up alive! What power Elisha had. What tremendous power of God that even the dead bones had the power to give immediate life. But listen to this: if the spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:11. How amazing! Our bodies will jump up and rise from the dead as well. Hallelujah!
