2 Kings 20 : 1 - 6 ; John 11 : 1 - 4 THIS SICKNESS IS NOT UNTO DEATH ! Todays message is to REMIND ALL OF US that when you find yourself in SICK SITUATIONS in life whether physically , mentally , or spiritually , SHOUT OUT TO GOD FROM YOUR HEART AND HE WILL HERE YOUR HUMBLE CRY ! AMEN ? HALLELUJAH ! 2 Kings 20 : 1 - 6 1 - In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him , and said unto him , Thus saith the LORD , Set thy house in order ; for thou shalt die , and not live. 2 - Then he turned his face to the wall , and prayed unto the LORD , saying , 3 - I beseech thee , O LORD , remember now how I walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart , and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. 4 - And it came to pass , afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court , that the word of the LORD came to him saying , 5 - Turn again , and tell Hezekiah the captain of the people , Thus saith the LORD , the God of David thy father , I have heard thy prayer , I have seen thy tears : behold , I will heal thee : on the third day thou shalt go up unto to the house of the LORD. 6 - And I will add unto thy days fifteen years ; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria ; and I will defend this city for mine own sake , and for my servant Davids sake. John 11 : 1 - 4 ( PLEASE READ ALL ? FOR BIBLE STUDY JUST PUTTING DOWN KEY VERSE 4 ) 4 - When Jesus heard that , he said , This sickness is not unto death , but for the glory of God , that the Son of God might be glorified thereby. In two different scenarios there physical SICKNESS WAS NOT UNTO DEATH ! ( WHAT ARE YOU SAYING PREACHER ? SO GLAD YOU ASKED US ! ) Here is the first part of our text or scripture lesson if you will , we have King Hezekiah who God had the prophet Isaiah tell him at first your SICKNESS IS TERMINAL ! ( BUT WATCH THIS ? GODS GRACE AND HIS MERCY ! AMEN ? HALLELUJAH ! ) BECAUSE HEZEKIAH CRIED OUT TO GOD TURNED HIS FACE TO THE WALL AND WEPT AND REMINDED GOD OF THE GOOD HE HAD DONE , GOD HAD COMPASSION ON HEZEKIAH AND ADDED 15 YEARS TO HIS LIFE ! Many of us God has warned us time after time ! AMEN ? HALLELUJAH ! And he really has to put us in a LIFE OR DEATH , situation to get our attention ! So WHAT WE ARE SAYING TO YOU THIS MOMENT DONT WAIT WHEN IT IS TOO LATE THE TIME IS NOW ! DONT WAIT UNTIL GOD GETS SO TIRED OF YOU HE HAS TO TAKE YOUR LIFE ! THIS SICKNESS IS NOT UNTO TO DEATH ! AMEN ? HALLELUJAH ! GOD HEARD HEZEKIAH CRIED OUT AND CAME TO HIS RESCUE BUT DONT WAIT TO GET IN A BAD PERDICTAMEN BEFORE YOU GO TO GOD ! HECK THANK HIM AND WORSHIP HIM WHILE ALL IS GOING GOOD ! AMEN ? HALLELUJAH ! AND IF YOU ARE GOING THROUGH A ROUGH TIME DONT WAIT UNTIL THE BATTLE IS OVER , SHOUT NOW BECAUSE YOU KNOW IN THE END YOU ARE GOING TO WIN ! AMEN ? HALLELUJAH ! The second part of the text , Lazarus has been dead for 4 days.( HOW MANY OF US ARE IN SOME DEAD SITUATIONS RIGHT THIS MOMENT ? A WHOLE LOT PREACHER ! THANK YOU FOR THE HEADS UP HOLY GHOST POWER CANT FUNCTION WITHOUT YOU ! ) THE SPIRIT OF GOD IS SAYING TO YOU RIGHT NOW THIS SICKNESS IS NOT UNTO DEATH ! AMEN ? HALLELUJAH ! IT MAY LOOK DEAD TO MAN BUT YOU ARE YET ALIVE ! YOU MAY FEEL THERE IS NO WAY OUT BUT YOU ARE ALIVE ! CHANGE IS STRANGE IN YOUR FINANCIAL CRISIS BROKE BUSTED AND DISGUSTED BUT YOU ARE ALIVE ! FROM MISERY TO MIRACLE YOU ARE ALIVE ! AMEN ? HALLELUJAH ! FROM BURDENS TO BLESSINGS YOU ARE ALIVE ! AMEN ? HALLELUJAH ! VICTIMS TO VICTORY YOU ARE ALIVE ! THIS SICKNESS IS NOT UNTO DEATH ! TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY FOR ALL THE THINGS THAT HE HAS DONE !!!!!!!
