2 Samuel 16 Every time you move from a place of the love of God you easily become vulnerable to the deception of the enemy. Satan would like to anoint and appoint people around you to criticize you. But when youre loved by God and you know it, it doesnt matter what anybody around you thinks. Youre secure in the love of God. Every time you are criticized by whoever it is: 1) Look Up(vs 10) : -No criticism can come your way, which God hasnt allowed. It is a tool used by God. Since God Has allowed it, He will use it for your good. -The only time youre truly dead in Christ is when people criticize you unfairly but you dont feel the urge to defend yourself. The secret to life is death in Christ. 2) Look About(Vs 11): -Look at your self and realize that there are bad aspects of your life which nobody knows about. -There will not be any criticism that will be anywhere near to describe how bad you actually are from the heart point of view. 3) Look Ahead( Vs 12) : -Focus on the call and purpose God has for your life. -It stirs up an anger in God who in turn fights for you. It makes God want to show His power in your life. -Every time you look ahead, God goes ahead of you and fights for you. 4) Look Afresh at Christ:(1 Peter 2:21-25) -Christ was without sin yet people spoke evil about Him, When He suffered He did not threaten. He left us with an example of how to deal with criticism and unfair treatment in life. -You should follow Christs example when dealing with these issues. This will help you get relaxed in life and take life easy. -That is why psychiatrists have researched and proven that people who are likely to get stressed in life (possibly resulting in mental problems) are the ones who are critics and tight in their lives. 2 SAMUEL 17 -Every time youre insecure in the love of God, satanic counsel will prevail in your life. (Vs 2) -When youre secure in the love of God, every satanic counsel against your life will be rendered foolish. (Vs 4) -You will have faith to cash the promises of God (Promises of Abraham) -You will have faith to be a co-heir with Jesus Christ. You will have power to dream.
